Today we went to the Family Fun Fair at Lincoln Middle School. This was our first year going and we had a BLAST! It is so kid friendly and every booth had a different activity for kids of all ages to do.
We played with play dough. We even got some to take home, as well as recipe of how to make it.
Then we stopped to play with some balloons. AJ was having lots of fun til he got stuck in the balloons.
We stopped a did an Easter craft and visited with Annie at the booth. She is my parents next door neighbor so I have known her for years.
We even got to make our own jump rope. How cool is that?! AJ picked out the colors and put it on the string himself. It turned out great! He tried to jump with it like the other kids, but discovered it was more fun to drag around.
We saw the fire trucks. AJ loves fire trucks and all the lights.
They had these posts, I figure they are bike racks. AJ thought they were cool tunnels to explore. He played in those for quite awhile.
AJ found more play dough and other fun things to play with.
We ended with the sensory table, AJ’s favorite. We have one at home that he plays with all the time.
A good time was had by all! We came home with some balls, toys and other fun stuff. I couldn’t believe how much free stuff they were handing out. These participants went all out for these kids. We will defiantly make this a yearly tradition.
We then came home so we could get some lunch and AJ could take a nap. Then we went to the Pullman Aquatic center for free swimming and water safety activites. We invited some friends to come with us and then come over for some pizza afterwards.
We had such a great day spending time together as a family. The weekends are my favorite where we spend all day together.
