Happy Mother’s Day!

So I am a day late for saying that, but I had a great Mother’s Day!  I love breakfast foods and I woke up to the smell of breakfast downstairs (such a great smell to wake up to).  Aaron had gotten up earlier (especially since church is at 9) and make homemade whole grain waffles with strawberries and whip cream, scrambled eggs with onion, bacon and seasonings in it, sausage and juice. Yummy!

When we got home from church, we gave Andrew a bottle and then was going to feed him lunch.  We noticed how quiet it was in the living room so we went out to check on him and this is what we found:

I guess he was ready for a nap.  He slept for 3 1/2 hours!  He was one tired boy.

That evening my mom, Emily and Chris came over for dinner.  I made dinner and dessert for my mom and we had a good time visiting.  It was great to spend Mother’s Day with my mom.  Happy Mother’s Day everyone!

A family bike ride

The weather finally turned sunny today, so we decided to take advantage of it.  We ordered a bike trailer and it came this week.  Yay!  We made the mistake of going when it was AJ’s naptime, but we thought he would fall asleep on the ride.  He did not.  He was fine when Aaron was moving, but cried when we stopped.  I think it was too much for this little boy with the trailer, helmet and being tired.  We will have to try again.

Figuring out how to get him in and all buckled up.

(and somehow the binky made it a little better)
