Sara's 8th Birthday Bash

One of the nurses I work with, Amanda, her daughter, Sara, is turning 8 in August. Since they are moving to New Zealand in August, we had her birthday early.

We had it at our complex and had a pool party with pizza, cake and lots of fun!

Happy Birthday Sara!!

Feeling Domesticated...

Awhile ago, I was in a quilt store with my mom and sister and saw a pattern to make these cute aprons. This past week, I decided to make one. Turned out pretty cute, huh?!

Underwater Camera

We got an underwater case for our camera so we could have some fun with it while snorkeling this summer. We tested it out yesterday. It's a lot of fun.

NASPI Trip

Because of my new position at work, I got to go to the North American SynchroPhasor Initiative in Bellevue last week. Everything started out fine, except for the weather, it snowed all morning! It's the middle of June for Pete's sake.

We got put up in a pretty nice hotel. They some really nice beds, and I got the whole room to myself.

We had a lot of setting up to do.

There wasn't a lot of people at the conference, but it was still good for us to be there and make the rest of the vendors look like chumps.

Overall it was a good time. I also had the chance to eat dinner with my brother Cam. I don't get to see him much, so that was great. We didn't have a lot of free time, but I was able to go relax in the hot tube a little.
