Our neighbors, the Nickels, have baby chicks this time of year and when the chicks are big enough they open Chickland in their garage. They get out all the Little People toys and make a town out of it. The chicks can go into the houses, go to the doctor and store and ride the cars and bus. Andrew thought it was great!
He especially liked this one little chick named Steve and Steve rode the bus all around town,
Laurel showed Andrew how to put Steve in the pocket of his apron and where to put his hand to support him there, he would fall asleep in the pocket. Andrew sat for quite awhile watching Steve sleep in the pocket.
