Ever since I moved back to Pullman, I have not been able to make a decent cookie. They always turn out flat and crisp and spread everywhere. I have started to doubt my abilities as a wife and mother! (Just kidding). But, tonight I had success. I took one into Aaron and said "Look what I made." He said "It looks like a cookie!" I was so proud of myself that Aaron took a picture. Success!

Try using butter flavored Crisco instead of butter. It has a higher melting point, so therefore, fluffier cookies! And congrats on your cookie.

that's so funny that you have cookie problems in pullman. i always do half butter/crisco. works for me.

Hey I'm glad we're not the only ones who can't make a cookie in this part of the world. Tracy does the same thing. I call em' "COOKAAAYS!!!"
