We had a great Easter weekend at our house.
Saturday we took Andrew to the Albion Easter egg hunt. All the Easter Egg goodness in his age group.
He mainly picked up the loose candy on the ground.
I had to open a plastic egg and show him there was candy inside, then he would grab whatever.
Even Grandma Mertes was helping him find some good ones.
Saturday night Aaron’s parents came for the rest of the weekend. It was so great to have them here. Sunday morning we woke up to find where the Easter bunny hid our baskets. I even got an Easter basket this year.

Aaron’s parents brought Andrew an Easter basket and Pepper was interested in what was inside. Grandpa and Grandma Wright bought Andrew a bowling set, a stuffed bunny, a whole package of matchbox cars and candy. Andrew thought it was more fun to use a bowling pin as a golf club to hit the ball.
Aaron was showing his parents how his camera had a remote to it, so we did some family pictures.
After church we made a traditional Easter dinner and my parents came over to eat too. It was so fun to have both sets of grandparents there for the day! We had such a great day and loved spending it with family.
And of course Andrew and Grandpa playing cars the rest of the day.
