All in a Night With the Cape Crusader

There was the sound of children and spookiness and the smell of candy in the air.  The Cape Crusader went out to the streets of Gotham to see what was going on.  For he was the protector of all Hallows eve. 

He started down the stairs and out onto the sidewalk.   The air was cold and crisp and it was quite dark out.  There were children and adults in costumes lurking about, asking for tricks or treats.  Were they friends or villains in disguise?

   

As Batman went down the street he came upon a spooky pumpkin with eerie lights inside.  He knew he needed to investigate.

 

He went door to door asking for tricks or treats with his candy bag in hand.  He investigated all the pumpkins and spooky decorations to make sure everything was safe in Gotham.

He arrived home, with loot in hand.  He knew he better investigate the night’s findings.

    

Throughout the night, the door bell kept ringing and children in disguise would be at the door step.  He knew he had to inspect each one, as well as the treats being given. 

 

There was still quite a lot of commotion outside.  The Cape Crusader knew he must return to the streets to make sure Gotham was safe for the night.  He was prepared with a Sippy cup in one hand and candy in the other. He wasn’t sure how late into the night he would be out there.  He had to keep up his strength.

 

After the city of Gotham quieted down, he knew his work was done.  He was homebound. Phew, it is hard work to be a superhero.

Feeling tired and a little worn out, the Cape Crusader knew he needed food to keep his strength and energy up.  The more vegetables the better.

 

All was quiet in Gotham.  It was time for Bruce Wayne to relax with loved ones watching  a Halloween movie.  Awww, The Addams Family, a classic to watch on Halloween.  There is enough scariness outside on this night, why bring it inside.  It was a good night for Batman.
