Aaron's Birthday
We had an Indiana Jones party for me! It was a lot of fun dressing up and making decorations for the party. I made a crate seen above and some things for my costume.
Janel made some neat vines and leaves for the walls, and a mummy thing.
She also got me a sweet ice cream cake from DQ. It even had Indiana Jones on it.
We'll have to make it to the movie on Thursday.

The Classy Chassis
Classy Chassis
The Classy Chassis parade was great this year. It seemed bigger than I remember.
This is East Wenatchee's mayor, Steve Lacy.
This is Uncle Dan and his fancy 442.
This was some weird apple ben racer. We didn't see them race though.
This had to be the best sounding car in the whole parade. You could really feel it go by. It was great. Apparently some uppity people didn't want any smoking tires, flames, etc, but some did anyways, and that was fun.
There was a bunch of these weird Nissans. They thought they were special or something, but they all sounded terrible. And I mean, really bad. They kept whipping their hamsters over and over again, and each time you just had to laugh a little. No pictures of them.

Apple Blossom Festival
Aaron, my sister Emily and I went to Wentachee, Washington for the annual Apple Blossom Festival this past weekend.
Friday night, we went and watched the Classy Chassis Parade. Aaron and his dad really enjoyed it! There were some great cars in there (and some cheesy ones-Mazada's, Nissan's, Volvo's). (Aaron will include pics for this one! Stay tuned!)
After the parade we meet Charles, Kati, Scarlet, Len and Debbie at the Drive In. Emily and I have never been to one before-what a blast! We saw Jumper and National Treasure 2.
Saturday, we went to the Grand Parade and it was huge (well for Washington)! It lasted 2 1/2 hours and saw lots of floats and school bands.

We then went to the food and art in the park and had lunch and walked around all the booths.
Emily and I are enjoying Dingleberries-good ol' chocolate covered strawberries. Yummy!
We watched Aaron's dad, Clark, umpire the Wenatchee Community College. He did a great job!
